We check your laptop's port, power and screen limit before dispatch, so most orders connect first time. If something still needs to come back, this page explains how. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Changing your mind
If you are a consumer, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of delivery, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Tell us by email within those 14 days, then send the item back within a further 14 days. We refund the price of the goods within 14 days of receiving them back, or of you providing evidence of return, whichever is earlier.
Opened items must be complete, with all cables and accessories, and undamaged. A change of mind return is at the customer's own cost for postage, unless it falls under the first time connection promise below.
If it does not connect first time
If you told us your laptop make and model at checkout and the item we sent does not connect first time, we pay the postage both ways. Email us and we will either send a working alternative or refund you, and we will send a prepaid return label or refund your return postage cost.
Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that, we will repair or replace it, or refund you if that is not possible. We cover the cost of returning a faulty item.
Business buyers
If you buy in the course of a business, the consumer cancellation rights described above do not apply to you. This does not affect your right to have faulty goods repaired, replaced or refunded, which always applies.
How to return something
- Email info.msutrade@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We reply within one working day with a returns reference and the return address.
- Pack the item securely, complete with its cables and accessories, and use a tracked service. Keep your proof of postage.
Old equipment and recycling (WEEE)
As a distributor of electrical equipment, we take back an old item of the same type when you buy a new one from us, or we can point you to a local recycling point near you. Please do not put electrical items or batteries in your household waste. Contact us to arrange a take back or to ask about recycling near you.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, email us first and we will do our best to put it right.
