These terms apply to every order placed with Dockworks. Please read them before you order.
1. About us
This website is operated by Mohammed Saber Uddin, trading as Dockworks, a sole trader based at 185 Plashet Road, London, E13 0QZ. You can contact us at info.msutrade@gmail.com or on 07477 110459.
2. Your order
When you place an order you receive an email acknowledging it. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot confirm the item is compatible with the laptop you have given us. If we decline, we refund you in full.
3. Compatibility checks
You give us your laptop make and model at checkout so we can check the port type, power delivery and screen limit before dispatch. If you do not give this information, or give it incorrectly, we cannot guarantee the item will connect first time and the change of mind return terms will apply instead of the first time connection promise.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to prices and we do not issue VAT invoices. Delivery is charged by weight and shown before you pay.
5. Delivery
We deliver within the UK only. Delivery times are estimates. The goods become your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave us. Full charges and timings are set out on our Delivery page.
6. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your rights to cancel and return an order are set out on our Returns and refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Trade and rollout orders
Trade and rollout packs are delivered to one address. If you buy in the course of a business, the consumer cancellation rights described in our Returns and refunds page do not apply to you, though your right to have faulty goods put right always applies.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
